Sometimes it’s convenient to have some spare change in your pocket when travelling. Icelandic coins are special in that each features a different type of fish or sea creature. These include a cod on the 1 kr coin, two dolphins on the 5 kr coin, four capelin on the 10 kr coin, a shore crab on the 50 kr coin, and a lumpfish on the 100 kr coin.
