I’ve posted images taken with an atomic force microscope (AFM) previously for a couple of challenges, and while this isn’t an AFM image, it’s a picture of what one of my material surfaces (that I was going to scan using AFM) looked like under an optical microscope. I think they were supposed to be crystals of some sort but I’d rather believe that they were mini spears and daggers pointed toward the centre, or maybe a super badass looking snowflake – so cool! It looked more like abstract art than science, but science is a delicate art in itself 😉
