Bordeaux, France, taken on September 22, 2011
There are many places in Bordeaux that can convey symmetry – Place de la Bourse (especially when reflected in the water mirror), Pont de Pierre, even Porte Cailhau. These trees lining the path towards the river at Place des Quinconces also expresses a sense of imperfect symmetry, because while the trees were not 100% aligned, the symmetrical aesthetics of the area cannot be denied. And if you know me at all, you’d know that I love places with trees lining the sides of a path or a road and you’d understand why I chose this photo for this week’s challenge instead of any other 😉
How beautiful!
