Hsinchu, Taiwan, taken on January 11, 2008
Having done an internship in Hsinchu, Taiwan for four months during my undergrad studies, I was accustomed to the completely different lifestyle of the Taiwanese compared with that of the west. Motorcycles were perhaps more numerous on the roads than were cars, and who could forget about the food? Aside from the irresistible night markets, every street seemed to be lined on both sides by stalls and shops selling food, drinks, and snacks of every kind!
Hsinchu is a nice city. Been there a few times already. Nah.. they do not have as many motorcycles like Kaohsiong. =P

Heh, not so familiar with Kaohsiung, only visited once for a few days. Gotta go back to Taiwan in the future, certainly miss it π

When I was there as an undergrad I did not have a sense of travel and unfortunately didn’t seize the opportunity to explore. Kind of regret it now, but all the more reason to return some day π
