Zhangjiajie, China, photo taken on August 11, 2010
Cable cars are one of my worst nightmares, but often during travels, it’s the only means of getting to a specific high point where breathtaking views await. It was no different in Zhangjiajie, China. The ascending cable car carrying us toward the Tianmen mountains proceeded on such a steep slope that it almost seemed completely vertical. I had the impression that with one wrong move, I would fall into the depths of a never-ending abyss…
Had a similar experience in yunnan China. Scared the cr@&$p out of me! Great shot
