The concept of an “appointment” eludes me as they are never on time. Wait time is usually an hour or more at the clinic even with an appointment, which kind of defeats its purpose. Then again, with the mountains of patients each doctor is in charge of, it is only understandable.

The reason there is almost always a long wait for a doctor’s appointment is because they deliberately overbook so that the doctor never has an “idle” time.
